We are moving!
We knew it was inevitable and we would be moving for my husbands job. We were just waiting to hear the news as to where we were going. Matt will be making Chief and will be stationed in Kodiak, Alaska. We will be moving at the end of June! Like they say... "home is where the Coast Guard takes us". We are so excited at this new adventure, but of course I am totally terrified about moving even further away from our families on the East Coast! God always has a plan bigger than our own and we will stand in faith on HIS promises! Please keep us in your prayers as we venture into this new phase of our lives. Thanks + God Bless
She's HOME
Shelbie is Here!!
DECEMBER 6th, 2010:
The Lord blessed us with our beautiful baby girl!! She weighed 8lbs and was 19 1/2 inches long. The c-section went well and I was feeling better than the first c-section.
On December 8th, we had a scare with her. They took her into the NICU to try and bring her heart rate down. She was in "a-fib" with her heart rate at over 220 bpm. The cardiologist recommended that we shock her heart to get it into a normal pattern. We prayed and they did the 10 minute procedure that fixed her heart and saved her life!
Everyone was praying for her and God delivered. She is now happy and very healthy! Thank you all for your love, support and prayers!
