I cant believe that our sweet baby girl Shelbie is 3 months old! I snapped these cute pics of her and finally made an updated collage. The colors remind me of Spring time and sherbert! Don't you want to just eat her up?
I entered another amateur Photo contest with my girlfriend Kara. We both ended up doing well in the judging. She took First in the Color category & Third in the Blk + White category.
I won First & Second in Blk+Wht and Second in Color. And I also got one "Honorable Mention". I was so shocked to find out I got a first place finish!
We will now get to enter into a state contest based on these wins! Wish us luck!
We went yesterday to the Heritage Festival and Parker got to go to his first parade... come to think of it I guess this was my first official parade also. I believe I have only been to the parades at Disney World + never attended a local parade. It didn't take little man too long to figure out the candy throwing and pick up! I was curious as to why he was doing so well picking up all that candy when it takes forever for him to clean up his room? hehe. anyways it was a great day. We are sure going to miss our little area that we now call home. The memories we have made here in Texas will last a lifetime. Texas will forever be a part of me from the friendships we have made and the fact that both my children were born here. We are Texas proud!
We knew it was inevitable and we would be moving for my husbands job. We were just waiting to hear the news as to where we were going. Matt will be making Chief and will be stationed in Kodiak, Alaska. We will be moving at the end of June! Like they say... "home is where the Coast Guard takes us". We are so excited at this new adventure, but of course I am totally terrified about moving even further away from our families on the East Coast! God always has a plan bigger than our own and we will stand in faith on HIS promises! Please keep us in your prayers as we venture into this new phase of our lives. Thanks + God Bless
