Daddy's lil helper
I assume most little boys grow up wanting to be just like their daddies. Parker is no exception. Ever since he could crawl he has wanted to be right under daddy's feet trying to see what he is doing and wanting to help. Now he is actually starting to help! He hands daddy tools and helps him figure out what the problem is when fixing something. My boys are just too adorable and Parker is a great helper!

Dog days...
We love our dogs and we discovered recently that our lab, "Remi" loves the sprinkler. He is a little obsessed actually. Parker decided to hold the sprinkler and shoot Remi with the water. Needless to say we were cracking up and so was he! Maybe you'll get a kick out of it too!

Class Gifts
For the last day of school I made little gift bags for my kids in my class. I bought little tote bags, bargain ribbon and characters that were iron-on. I chose different characters and styles that were unique for each child's personality. The whole project took about 3 hours to do 11 bags. I think they turned out just adorable and the kids LOVED them!

I did it!
Finally, I did it! it has been about five years, but I finally finished a book. Between marriage, moving out of state, buying a house, having a baby, and life I have not made time to read an entire book. I have done devotionals, read the Bible and even skimmed thru "What to expect when you are expecting". My girlfriends convinced me that I needed to make the time and commit to finishing a book. So after seeing "The Last Song" I found the book and went for it. About three weeks later I finished it. It was much better than the movie and had a much more spiritual and Biblical side than the movie also. I truly enjoyed it and now I am going to tackle "Dear John".

CRAWFISH!!!
Probably my hubby's favorite thing about living out here is the crawfish. When it is in season I find myself watching him down those little mud bugs by the pound. He loves them and I find them disgusting. At least they come in handy to make our son laugh!

Nursery man
Parker loves the nursery at church, but probably not as much as I do. The ladies are so sweet to him and they are so caring. He gets to have a great time while Matt and I get some much needed quality time at church. Our church family is incredible and we are so blessed to have found such an incredible place! Fellowship we love you!

Mother's Day 2010
Happy Mother's Day to all the incredible moms out there. We are so blessed to be given the gift of children. Today our pastor reminded us of what it must have been like to be Mary and witness the first hand account of the life and death of Jesus. She must have had such strength in her faith as she watched her son being tortured and crucified. Did she know that when her son died he did it for her and for the rest of the world? As a mother of a boy it is so hard to think of anything bad happening to your son, but to put yourself in her shoes is SO unimaginable. How incredible the love of a son to be sure she was safe of by asking John to take care of Mary, while he was dying! That is the true love of a king! Kiss your babies today and remember we are saved by His grace and that is why we can be wonderful mothers!
